March 1st – Barb Tubekis from the Volunteer Center of New Trier Township will be leading the youth through a discussion and design of their service project for this spring. (11:30 – 2:30)

March 8th – Hockey Game! They youth and any parishioners who want to attend will be going to a Wolves Hockey game. Meet at church to car pool (3:00 – 9:00).

March 15th – Laser Tag! We will be going to Laser Quest in Arlington Heights. (11:30 – 5:00).

March 22nd and 29th – No youth group meetings. Spring Break.

Sam Roan is being awarded as a volunteer of the year from our church. Due to this committment, there will be no Youth Group in the evening of October 19th. There will be Jr. and Sr. High classes in the morning.

The first half hour, from 9:30 – 10:00, is a worship service that at least one parent from each family needs to attend. There were only 4 of us, but we had a great time playing a fun game called “Forced Choices.” This game makes you pick distinctions about yourself and then explain them. Created a lot of great conversation.

We also discussed the difference between “Mission Trip” and “Pilgrimage.” The group decided that they would prefer to do a Mission Trip where they go and do something for someone as opposed to going on a pilgrimage where they go and experience something for their own personal and spiritual growth.
